Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts each had strong performances as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated former Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson and the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-23 on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field to win their fourth straight game.

Nakobe Dean intercepted Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence late in the game to seal the victory.

Hurts had three total touchdowns in the game, including a 25-yard touchdown to DeVonta Smith where the Heisman Trophy winner hauled in the pass with one hand.

Barkley hauled in one of Hurts’ two touchdown passes and had a 19-yard rushing score late in the second quarter. Barkley finished the game with 159 rushing yards and caught three passes for 40 yards.

Wide receiver AJ Brown left the game with a knee injury.

With the win, the Birds improved to 6-2 and will face the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday at the Linc.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
