The latest photo of Maggie Smith in a fashion campaign for Loewe has surfaced.

The beloved actress, who died on Friday at the age of 89, was named the new face of the luxury fashion house in October 2023.

Smith posed for a series of eye-catching photos while modeling for the Spanish brand.

In one shot, the “Downton Abbey” star smiled at the camera while wearing an oversized ruffled coat and clutching an olive-colored handbag.

Her hair was subtly framed around her face and she was adorned with rings.

A second shot showed Smith sitting in a black and white dress, peering into the camera without a smile and holding a maroon handbag.

Smith’s sons, Toby Stephens and Chris Larkin, announced the veteran star’s death in a statement Friday morning.

“It is with great sadness that we must announce the death of Dame Maggie Smith. An intensely private person, she was with friends and family at the end. She is survived by two sons and five loving grandchildren, who are devastated by the loss of their special mother and grandmother.”

Smith was born in Ilford, England, on December 28, 1934, and left behind a long list of accolades, including the iconic stern Professor McGonagall in the eight “Harry Potter” films and the sharp Dowager Countess of Grantham in “Downton Abbey.” ”

De Dame also co-starred with Whoopi Goldberg in “Sister Act.” “The View” co-host paid tribute to her fallen co-star in a moving Instagram post.

“Maggie Smith was a wonderful woman and a brilliant actress. I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to work with this one-of-a-kind,” the 68-year-old wrote on Instagram. “My sincere condolences go out to the family… RIP.”

Goldberg included a photo of himself and Smith from the hit 1992 comedy, with fans flocking to the comments section to share their fond memories of the classic film.

One user wrote: “When people first think of her in Harry Potter, the first thing I think of is her in Sister Act movies with you,” while another user said: “My favorite line from Maggie Smith was ‘Go with God, Crispy! ‘”

Rounding out the kind words, a fan said, “I was hoping she would be in ‘SISTER ACT 3!’ Meeting Maggie for the first time in ‘Sister Act.’ TEAR.”

Goldberg himself hoped the same. The talk show host has previously stated that she would only reprise her role in a potential threequel if Smith did too.

During a 2023 appearance on the British talk show “Loose Women,” Goldberg said she was “filling the role of Mother Superior” to the “Downton Abbey” star.

“One of the things I definitely want to do while I’m here is I want to let Maggie Smith know that I’m taking on the role of Mother Superior for you,” the “View” co-host said as she watched directly into the camera. “Because I just can’t do it with anyone else but you.”

Goldberg noted that she was willing to do whatever it took to get the “Harry Potter” actress on board.

“So if you want me to come here and shoot and do what we need to do, then we’ll do what you want us to do,” she added. “But we don’t want to do it without you, Maggie.”

The film follows Deloris Wilson (Goldberg), a lounge singer who is placed in witness protection after witnessing a violent murder. She poses as Sister Mary Clarence after moving to a convent in San Francisco and constantly argues with Smith’s Mother Superior.

A year later, the duo reprized their roles in the film’s sequel, “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit”. In 2020, Disney announced that there would be a third installment of “Sister Act,” which will be released on Disney+.

In June, actress Tanya Trotter revealed that the script for “Sister Act 3” had been completed.

While she couldn’t reveal whether she would be involved in the third film, the 47-year-old told Entertainment Tonight that she knew “the script is ready.”

And when they called, she answered.

As Trotter put it: “Anything that Whoopi Goldberg is a part of – because she’s a legend, an icon, she’s my mentor, hero – yeah, I would say yes.”
