Several streets closed for Tulsa’s 106th Veterans Day Parade

Tulsa’s annual Veterans Day parade takes place today, November 11.

This is the 106th year that Tulsa has hosted this massive Veterans Day parade, and the road closures begin around 8:30 a.m.

According to the city of Tulsa, the following streets are closed for the parade:

  • East 2nd Street between South Detroit Avenue and South Greenwood.
  • East 3rd between Kenosha and Cincinnati Avenues.
  • Greenwood Avenue between 2nd and 3rd streets.
  • Frankfort between 2nd and 4th.
  • Elgin between 2nd and 4th.
  • Detroit between 2nd and 4th.
  • Boston between 3rd and 4th.

The parade will feature veterans, Gold Star families, veteran service organizations, nonprofits, businesses and more. ‘

The parade route begins at the corner of 3rd and Cincinnati and ends near 6th and Greenwood Avenue.

It starts at 11am and lasts until 2pm
