Shania Twain’s husband Frédéric Thiébaud wishes her a happy 59th birthday

Shania Twain’s husband showers her with love on her special day!

As the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” singer turned 59 on Wednesday, August 28, Frédéric Thiébaud, the singer’s husband of more than a decade, wished her a happy birthday with a sweet tribute on Instagram.

The 54-year-old Swiss businessman shared a photo of the couple laughing and hugging on a boat and captioned it with a sweet birthday wish.

“Happy birthday you amazing human being @shaniatwain 😍🥳🎈🍰,” he wrote.

In response, Twain replied with some love — in emoji form — saying, “❤️❤️❤️.”

On her own Instagram account, the “You’re Still The One” singer shared a birthday wish of her own.

Alongside a compilation of clips from her Las Vegas residency, the Come on Over residency at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater — set to the music of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” of course — the singer wrote, “Today is my birthday and I feel like a badass queen!”

“Thank you for all the love and birthday messages, I love you guys!” she continued. “AND I can’t wait to celebrate with you all in Vegas this week 🥰 Who’s coming to a show? Let’s go nuts and have a s— kicking time!! 💥🥳.”

Twain and Thiébaud, who frequently posts tributes to the star and her career on social media, knew each other for decades before they began dating after their then-husbands — Robert “Mutt” Lange and Marie-Anne — reportedly had an affair.

“I saw Fred go through the same thing I did and I admired the way he handled it,” Twain said Red Book in May 2011, just months after they got married.

“That’s where I fell in love with him,” she added, “because he was so exemplary in every way.”

Twain said in 2020, recalling the early days of the longtime couple’s soap opera-style relationship, AARP The Magazine“It’s twisted. But so beautifully twisted.”

Also in 2020, Twain said it was due to “faith and love” that she and the businessman had a lasting marriage.

“I’m so grateful that I found the faith and the courage to love again — because the last thing you want to do when you’re crushed is love again,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “When you have a big loss, you lose faith; you get very discouraged.”

“I’m sure a lot of people say, ‘I’m never going to love again. I never want to fall in love again.’ There are songs written about that,” she continued. “I’m really glad that’s turned around for me, and that’s what this relationship is.”
