In a subsequent post, the “Young Dumb & Broke” chart-topper explained: “I’m out (sic) and the world still keeps spinning. Let’s get this straight (lmao) I’m not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality, it’s none of anyone’s business! But I’m fine, I love you guys.”

Another commenter chimed in: “The case was glass, honey. but we accept you. It’s not about who you like, it’s about your artistry! 🤍,” prompting Khalid to respond, “I wasn’t hiding anything! It’s just none of your business.”

A fan then shared a snippet of the Texas dance in his music video for his song “Satellite,” writing, “Then there was the LGBTQ song he gave us in 2022 but y’all must have lost some sleep. Anyway…I hate that Khalid was forced to leave, but he didn’t “hide” it. He just didn’t have to TELL anyone.”

Khalid appreciated the valid point and replied: “thanks!!!! I never hid,” before saying goodbye to his followers.

“Aight love yall, yall, I’m done with it ✌🏾,” he wrote.

The “Location” hitmaker’s public acknowledgment comes shortly after a fellow artist named Hugo D. Almonte took to X to claim that “one of your favorite gay R&B singers sucked my dk and it really sucked.”

Almonte further claimed, “I was dating this stupid singer he’s ugly as f-k but he tried to set me up and lie and say I broke into his house because I was dating him broken up, like why would I go to your house? and do all that if I broke up with you, you stupid bastard!

After an overwhelming response from netizens, some of whom suspected he was talking about Khalid, Almonte posted, “Y’all really want me to blow this up.”

He then uploaded a selfie with the star, captioning it: “Bitch ass 🥷🏾 lied and said I broke into his house because I didn’t want him.”

Representatives for Khalid did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
