A fast-moving wildfire in Ventura County, California has burned down several homes and destroyed more than 14,000 acres, according to officials.

Despite efforts to extinguish the fire, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection says crews have not achieved any control.

Authorities continue to issue evacuation orders in the area.
