The Texas A&M Aggies and the Creighton Bluejays face off Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas for the NIL Players Era Festival. Both teams will look to bounce back in their second game of the round robin after suffering losses in game one. Texas A&M allowed Oregon to go on a 16-0 run yesterday, leading to their second loss of the season. Creighton lost to San Diego State in their first game of the tournament, and they never really had a chance to win. That’s their second loss in a row and it doesn’t look like they’re getting back on track here. The Aggies are a 3.5-point favorite here and we’d like to see them cover that.

Texas A&M -3.5 is our best guess at this, as Creighton isn’t at full strength and they don’t look good. Creighton starting guard Steven Ashworth is their second leading scorer and will be out for the second straight game with a sprained ankle. The Bluejays clearly missed him in their blowout loss to San Diego State, where they scored just 53 points and shot 19.4 percent from beyond the arc. This Creighton team will likely fall out of the AP Top 25 rankings next week and still has a lot of things to work out. They are just 1-5 against the spread this season and we don’t see them covering this season. Take Texas A&M -3.5
