We don’t often agree with Democrats, but Bill Clinton really nailed it Monday when he admitted that Laken Riley’s murder “probably wouldn’t have happened” if the migrants had “all been properly vetted.”

Correct.

Bubba would try to get Kamala Harris defend her horrific record as border czar, when he accidentally told the truth.

The accused killer of the 22-year-old Georgia student, Jose Ibarra, entered the United States illegally in 2022 and was promptly released domestically.

Clinton tried to shift the blame to Donald Trump, who he believes is responsible for killing that “bipartisan border bill” that Democrats insist would have solved everything.

Oops: Ibarra was released 2022 (when the Democrats controlled Congress), while that bill was just coming to the surface this year.

And of course, as president, Trump has taken countless security measures to keep illegal immigrants like Ibarra out of the country.

Even those “seeking asylum” had to wait in Mexico until their cases could be heard, under Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols.

But from the moment President Biden and border czar Kamala Harris came to power, they stripped every last protection Trump established, including the Remain in Mexico program.

Almost everyone who applies for asylum – no matter how bogus the question or how scary their criminal background (or terror ties) – gets in, virtually no questions asked.

Together with violent criminals, the Harris-Biden policy has indeed taken hold thousands of illegal migrants from countries that are hotbeds of terrorism. Hundreds of migrants with ties to terror are said to be roaming America’s streets freely.

Clinton also tried to excuse the Harris-Biden do-it-all border policy as necessary because “America isn’t having enough babies to sustain our population.”

Sorry, but Congress — not Harris or Biden — is responsible for making that decision. And yet, Americans would want migrants to be fully vetted to prevent killers like Riley’s from entering.

Clinton made another remarkable admission: that Harris failed in her primary job at the border — getting countries to put their migrants through a “legal process” so that they wouldn’t get in if they “weren’t properly vetted.”

Again, Bill – although he (pathetically) blamed “traders” who “made a lot of money” for that failure.

The Harris campaign has brought out the Democratic Party’s luminaries to advocate for her, but first Barack Obama and now Bill Clinton have failed: maybe there’s just no good argument to make?
