Halfway through the work week!

After another warm day, we will be on a cold front watch this afternoon. The front is expected before dinner time. Humidity will quickly drop below the limit, leading to a clear, cool morning on Thursday.

San Antonio will likely dip into the low 50s and upper 40s to start the day Thursday. Tomorrow afternoon, daytime highs will be *slightly* cooler. Friday morning will be the coolest of all, with lows in the mid-40s in Alamo City.

A slight warming is expected this weekend as more moisture moves in by Sunday. Then changes come as a stronger cold front arrives early next week.

With these early season cold fronts, predicting exact times and strength can often be a bit tricky (models don’t handle that well). But the latest thinking is that the front will make a breakthrough through Central Texas on Monday. That would mean gusty winds are possible, along with some showers along the front. Cooler weather is forecast for Tuesday, with a secondary push of colder air for Wednesday. More updates to come!
