The Dodgers’ bizarre home run celebration stunned everyone

Chest thrusts? Certainly.

Only one headbutt?

The Dodgers’ Kiké Hernandez had an interesting home run celebration after taking on Los Angeles in a win-or-go-home NLDS Game 5 on Friday.

The utility man was elated as he hit a home run out of Dodger Stadium to give his team a 1-0 lead over the Padres – who Los Angeles would not give up – in the deciding game to pit the winner against the Mets in the NLCS .

He was so excited that it looked like he was shoving teammate Gavin Lux.

It was a truly confusing celebration for many on social media, who, as expected, responded quickly.

“This is next level team chemistry right here,” one commenter wrote on X.

“A dry lump of flesh is devilish,” another added.

A third user called it the ‘banana bump’.

The Dodgers ultimately won the game 2-0 and will face the Mets in the NLCS.

They host Game 1 on Sunday evening.
