With an initiative of the Government of Estonia, through the Public Sector Secretariat (SSP-PI), Teresina and Parnaíba are making significant increases in combating violence and more indications of the public sector. With an investment of more than R$ 30 million, most of the city’s municipalities can use a video monitoring system, with 600 cameras of the highest technology with facial recognition, the route of the squares for vehicles, visibility and the detection of suspicious behavior.

A system of much of the reformation in the fight against violence is being implemented by Governor Rafael Fonteles, using a technology used to strengthen the market of the world with the most criticism.

A novice visa allows security agents to monitor or map areas that are prioritized by the SSP in the capital and second in the country. The financing for the realization of a project is possible through the Parliament of R$ 31 million from Senator Marcelo Castro (MDB).

Since more than 600 cameras of the highest technology are installed, they can observe facial recognition, vehicle cameras, facial recognition and detection of suspicious situations. While cameras connect to the Command and Control Centers (CCOs), a Teresina and Parnaíba, it allows security monitoring to be considered areas in the real pace, to respond to incidents and prevent crimes.
