The Montana Millionaire Lottery starts Friday

The 18th annual Montana Millionaire Lottery kicks off Friday, with four $1 million top prizes up for grabs, Montana Lottery officials said.

Tickets go on sale statewide at 5:30 a.m. and cost $20 each. They are available at any Montana Lottery sales agent, including convenience stores, bars/taverns, grocery stores and casinos. Don’t wait: last year the tickets sold out within five hours.

Montana Lottery announced in March that it would add 120,000 tickets and a $1 million fourth top prize to the 2024 game in response to unprecedented demand. Even with a total of 500,000 tickets, lottery officials still expect a quick sellout.

Each Montana Millionaire ticket is eligible to win one of 4,500 $100 instant win prizes or 2,300 $500 instant win prizes, plus a $250,000 Quarter Million Monday drawing on December 2, and the grand prize drawings for four $1 million prizes on December 26.

“This year’s game is the biggest and best yet,” Montana Lottery Director Bob Brown said in a news release.
