The presidential candidate forces ‘The View’ to air his ultra-creepy abortion ads

AMERICANA: So, what are you up to? What’s the strategy here?

RANDALL TERRY: Let me bring you up to speed. We’ve been running ads on ‘The View’ all week. Last night we tracked down Jimmy Kimmel. This is all rural. Tonight we have an ad on ABC World News Tonight with David Muir. These ads are creating a shitstorm, an epic shitstorm, and we are calling on Black people, Black Democrats, and Catholic Democrats to abandon Kamala. So we want to shift a 1% or 2% margin over Kamala from black and Catholic Democrats, especially in swing states. We’re about to start a firestorm of advertising in Wisconsin. So if you set your DVR to “The View,” in about 20 minutes you will see a black man appear on television and say that abortion is “black genocide.” .” My Twitter account is currently closed. The ad I placed on “The View” shut down my Twitter account. The strategy proves that: you can say on TV what you can’t say on Twitter. Entertainment Weekly did a big story. The Associated Press did a big story. Newsweek did a big story. People are freaking out.

You have said repeatedly that you are committed to spreading this message, not hurting Trump. But are there people who still think you can hurt him?

It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I feel like I’m dealing with pro-life idiots. I mean, come on: watch the ad and then tell me how you think this could possibly hurt Trump. I have people who refuse to give us money because they say you’re going to hurt Trump. Have you gone crazy?

However, last week was good. There were people who said, “Oh, you’ll never get this on TV.” I said, trust me, I’ve done this before. And once they saw it on TV, they said, “Wow, this works, here’s some money.” No thinking person is going to look at that ad and think it’s going to hurt Donald Trump. The other thing I do, which is really fun, is offer my ads to anyone who wants to use them. I have a candidate in Chicago who is about to run ads there – a Republican who has no chance of winning. There is another candidate in Phoenix, running on the Green Party line, and he is running his campaign ads.

Has anyone close to Trump asked you to quit?

Some, low on the totem pole. But we’ve also had senior Republican activists say to us, this is great. Tom DeLay is helping us raise money. When we explained this to him and showed him the ads, he said, “Every Republican in the country should give you money. You are Trump’s secret weapon.”

Where in Wisconsin do your ads appear?

We have already placed one ad in each city. Now we’re starting bigger purchases at all the smaller cities: Eau Claire, LaCrosse, Green Bay. Then we march south with our purchase. We will deliver Wisconsin to Trump. Just look at Wisconsin. It will go to Trump. And anyone who knows what’s going on there will say it’s because of the Terry for President ads. We’re crushing the Catholics and the black Democrats. We have an ad, created by a priest, telling Catholics, “Voting for Democrats is like voting for someone who would kill Jesus in the womb.” I mean, that’s tough. We’re going to redefine what it means to be pro-life.

One of Democrats’ most common advertising strategies this cycle, post-Dobbs, is putting a woman on camera and having her describe a medically necessary abortion. Are you trying to counter-program them because they’ve been effective?

Difficult cases lead to bad legislation. They pull emotional strings tied to smoke. It has never been illegal to perform an abortion (save a woman’s life) when a woman is about to die. If a woman has an ectopic pregnancy, a doctor can save her life. What they do is lie, and what we do is tell the truth. People between 50 and 80 years old who still consume their news and entertainment through traditional television – that is my target group. That’s the one that makes Kamala lose Wisconsin.

Back to Trump: He has been careful when talking about abortion. He has criticized states with abortion bans. Why do you trust him as president to deliver on this issue?

We have an ad coming out in South Florida calling on Trump to repent. I mention balls and strikes. I’m not a partisan hack. Trump needs to repent, and that’s what our ad says. When people see our ad, they will shit their pants, but they will also take the message to Trump. It is addressed directly to him and says, “I want you to win, sir, but you must repent.”

There is a God in heaven. Trump gave us the three justices who overturned Roe, so anything is possible. I know the people around Trump will be pro-life and the people around Kamala are baby killers. My mission is to redefine pro-life, get rid of the hustlers who don’t want to win, get rid of the hypocrites, and say, “We intend to make it a criminal act to kill a human being from the conception to birth. .” That’s the mission. No excuses, no ambiguity.
