LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Rain and thunderstorms are expected to clear overnight Monday morning.

Overnight showers continue to spread rain across our area, making flash flooding a problem.

Some severe threats are also possible, with some small hail or gusty winds in the southeast.

We will stay in the 60s on Monday, the high in Lubbock will be around 63. As the low moves out of the northeast, we will see strong winds.

Skies will become sunnier during the work week and temperatures will drop back into the mid-50s on Wednesday.
