    Tickets are still available for Donald Trump’s Reno campaign rally

    Former President Donald Trump’s website is still accepting free ticket reservations for Friday night’s rally in Reno.

    That doesn’t guarantee a spot at the Grand Sierra Resort, so you’ll want to get in line early. The guest entrance is located at the front near the valet porch.

    According to the “guest instructions” sent to participants registered for the Reno meeting, people are asked to arrive no later than 2:30 p.m. Trump’s remarks begin at 5:30 p.m.

    One reason why ticket availability doesn’t turn off when capacity is reached is that many people sign up for tickets who ultimately can’t make it.

    Tickets are tracked as people enter the venue. When capacity is reached, the doors will be closed to people who try to enter later.

    This happened last month during Trump’s rally in Las Vegas. When the fire chief said the maximum number of occupants in the hall had been reached, a one-out, one-in policy was instituted where people were not allowed in until the same number of people exited.

    What you need to know about attending the Donald Trump rally in Reno

    Reno event details from guest instructions say:

    • The event will take place indoors.
    • “The line will start to form early.”
    • Event programming (introductory speakers and activities such as the Pledge of Allegiance) begins at 3:30 p.m.
    • Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
    • Event parking is available in the lots between the front of the GSR and Interstate 580. First come, first served.
    • ADA parking is located on the Glendale Avenue side and near the golf pond.
    • No bags or purses allowed.
    • All attendees are screened by the US Secret Service.
