Travis Kelce jokes about his brother Jason’s too-small jersey during his Monday Night Football debut

Travis Kelce made fun of his brother, Jason Kelce, for wearing a shirt that was too small during his “Monday Night Countdown” debut.

The former Philadelphia Eagles player, 36, was introduced by ESPN host Scott Van Pelt, who explained that the retired athlete was wearing a white shirt he bought “at the mall today” because he forgot his travel bag.

“It fits around my stomach now; I’ve lost a little weight, but my boobs are still sore,” Jason replied as he tried to cover his chest, which was peeking through the gaping buttons of the lululemon garment.

Travis, 34, could imagine how his brother would have handled it. He responded to the Instagram comments of the ESPN video by writing, “Surprised he even bought a new one and didn’t just walk around shirtless.”

The tight end referenced this when Jason took off his shirt to celebrate Travis’ touchdown during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills in January.

The iconic moment stunned Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, when Jason leapt from their VIP suite into the stands at Highmark Stadium.

As the “Lover” singer cheered Jason on, his wife, Kylie Kelce, tried to take control of the situation by yelling at the former professional football player to “get his ass back over here.”

Travis heard about his brother’s antics immediately after the game and told Westwood One Sports that it “didn’t surprise him at all.”

“I love that guy. And whenever we’re not on the field together, we always cheer for each other,” he said with a smile.

Jason attended his brother’s first game of the 2022-23 season after the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoffs.

Jason also supported Travis during the 2024 Super Bowl, along with Swift and her A-list team, when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.

In March, the father of three announced he was retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons.
