Donald Trump is to add Robert F. Kennedy Jr. And Tulsi Gabbard to his presidential transition team, spotlighting two former Democrats who have supported his campaign in an effort to broaden his electoral appeal in a neck-and-neck race with Vice President Kamala Harris.

“We look forward to having their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore America’s greatness,” Trump campaign spokesman Brian Hughes said in a statement Tuesday, calling the move a sign of how support for the Republican nominee is expanding “across party lines.”
