The fallout was swift and widespread after Trump’s rally on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden, where misogynistic and racist rhetoric was heard from several speakers during the hour-long event. But comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke calling Puerto Rico “a floating island of trash” has sent the Trump campaign into damage control mode.

It prompted the Republican presidential candidate to address the issue head-on. Trump sat down with friendly Fox News host Sean Hannity to give his side of the story about what he does on Tuesday “an absolute lovefest,” telling supporters it was his “honor to be involved.”

Trump announced that his interview with Hannity would do just that airs at 9pm ET on Tuesday, October 29.
