Tyler, the Creator releases new album ‘Chromakopia’

Tyler, the Creator rarely does anything by the book, and instead of releasing his new album on Thursdays at 9pm PT, he broke with convention and released his latest solo album ‘Chromakopia’ on Mondays at 3am PT. .

The album features guest appearances from Daniel Caesar, Teezo Touchdown, Childish Gambino, Schoolboy Q, Doechii, and on the track “Sticky”, Lil Wayne, GloRilla and Sexyy Red. The album was produced entirely by Tyler, with the exception of the opening track “St. Chroma,” which was co-produced with Sault founder Inflo (Michael Kiwanuka, Cleo Sol, Adele).

The release culminated in a short but busy rollout of the album, which was first announced just twelve days ago. The album was teased with a snippet of the cryptic “St. Chroma”, the single “Noid” alongside another video, and announcing the line-up for the 10th edition of his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival (which will take place in Los Angeles on November 16 and 17), announced a world tour with special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas, and presented an album Sunday evening at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

The album is Tyler’s first new music since the release early last year of the expanded version of his excellent 2021 album ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’.

The dates for his seven-month world tour are below:
