UNLV Rebels vs Utah State Aggies Prediction, odds and picks

The UNLV Rebels headed to the northeast corner of the Beehive State on Friday night to take on the Aggies of Utah State in Logan. UNLV is looking to bounce back from a tough 44-41 overtime loss to Syracuse last weekend, pushing it from the ranks of the undefeated. Not only did the Rebels suffer their first loss, but they also had their first non-cover of the season. The defense was a bit suspect for the first time, allowing the Dutch to pile up 44 points, as well as 137 meters on the ground and 355 meters through the air. UNLV QB Hajj-Malik Williams threw for three more scores while running for another as he seamlessly picked up for the abruptly departed QB Matthew Sluka. The offense is not a problem, we are going for 23 or more points in every game and 41 or more points in three of the last four games.

For Utah State, it’s coming off a 62-30 loss at Boise State as the Aggies, like most, had no answers for RB Ashton Jeanty. The Aggies, however, have had an answer for almost no one, putting up 38 or more points in all four games against FBS opponents, and 53.5 PPG in the past two outings at Boise State and, yes, Temple. The Rebels should be able to pile up the points in Logan, doing most of the heavy lifting to get this close to the Over. Utah State doesn’t need to contribute much to get this over the finish line.
