Vikings LT Christian Darrisaw is undergoing season-ending surgery on an injured knee

Darrisaw started all seven of Minnesota’s games in 2024 and continued his stellar play as Sam Darnold’s blindside guard, earning an 81.4 offensive grade from Pro Football Focus. He performed at a similar level the past two seasons and posted a career-high 90.3 in 2022.

Darrisaw arrived in Minnesota as the 23rd overall pick of the 2021 draft and proved his worth almost immediately, giving the Vikings a keystone tackle on the left wing. He has never played a full season – his highest mark for games played in a season is 15 – but the knee injury he suffered on Thursday makes 2024 the shortest season of his career.

The Vikings (5-2) will have to continue without him for the remainder of this promising season.
