Despite the fresh start this morning, we will end this afternoon slightly warmer. We will top out in the low to mid 70s, with sunny skies.

Some of you saw a spectacular show of the Northern Lights last night! We took some amazing photos from all over the Tri-State at night. Although the skies will be clear tonight, the chances aren’t that good, but in the dark you might be able to notice some color on your camera or phone camera.

There will be a big warm-up this weekend, with temperatures near 80 degrees both days. A cold front from the north offers a chance of some showers from Sunday morning. It looks like we’ll dry out later in the day. It will be chilly all day.

This cold front will bring much colder air in the coming week. Highs won’t reach the low 60s until Monday, and the 50s on Tuesday! Some frost is possible Tuesday, Wednesday and even Thursday morning, with lows dropping to the mid and upper 30s.
