Fermin Lopez says Barcelona is “prepared for anything” after beating Bayern 4-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Spanish star was back in the starting line-up for the match and picked up two assists on a great night for Hansi Flick’s side.

Fermin spoke afterwards about the importance of the victory and also made it clear that there was no foul in the build-up to Barcelona’s second goal.

“It was an important win, we hadn’t beaten them since 2015. The club and the fans deserve it. The whole team played a great match, Bayern is a very high-level team,” he told the media.

“I think (Kim) is too big to handle it. I looked for the position and was able to give Robert the finishing touch.”

Lopez then looked ahead to Sunday’s match against Real Madrid and hopes his team can continue their good form.

“We are prepared for everything. We are Barça, there is still a long way to go, but we are on the right track. I am sure that the classic will be a great match, we will try to win.”

Sunday’s pledges promise to be an epic encounter. Barcelona went into action on the back of a fantastic win, while Real Madrid came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat Dortmund 5-2 on Tuesday.
