Johnny Depp is a world figure best known for his quirky and eccentric roles. His portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will always remain unparalleled. Therefore, the studio is struggling to find his replacement to continue the franchise. The role also had a deep impact on the actor. Depp once revealed how playing the eccentric character made him miserable. Scroll below for the deets.

There are five films in the franchise and it is one of the highest-grossing film series ever. However, due to the domestic violence allegations and defamation cases, Depp was fired from the role by Disney. Now there are reports that a sixth installment is in development, and Johnny’s name keeps coming up. Recently, a report claimed that he might have a cameo in the alleged sixth film, but nothing substantive has emerged about it.

A report from Express revealed that Johnny Depp fell into depression after the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. It is the first film in the franchise and was released in 2003. He told IGN, “I had so much fun being the character.” He added: “At the end of the movie, when they wrap up the end of the movie – and this has happened to me before – you go through a kind of decompression and depression.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star explained, “You feel like, ‘God, I’ve just been this other guy for six or seven months. I’ll never see him again. ”

Depp continued: “It’s very strange. I’m not really creepy about the whole, ‘you become the character’ thing, it’s not that at all. Knowing someone so well and playing against him, letting him be second nature, it just happens naturally.”

Johnny Depp also said: “It’s very strange for the body to stop.” He is truly unparalleled, and there can hardly be another actor who can replace him in the role of Jack Sparrow. The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has raised $4.52 billion worldwide, and Depp is a major reason for its success.
