Post Malone spilled the beans.

When the crossover country star announced his 2025 ‘Big Ass Stadium Tour’ with Jelly Roll via Instagram, the crossover country star added two show dates in Indio, CA to his itinerary, sparking speculation that he would headline next year at the Coachella Arts and Music Festival.

Now, just one day after the whoopsie, the annual two-week extravaganza confirmed that the “Sunflower” singer will perform next year alongside Lady Gaga, Green Day and Travis Scott at Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA on April 11-13 and April 18-20.

Each of the featured artists has a piece of unique history with the festival.

Lady Gaga took over as headliner from Beyoncé in 2017 after announcing Queen Bey’s pregnancy. Post Malone has made a handful of guest appearances in the past — and played a set at the Sahara Tent in 2018 — but 2025 will mark his first official Coachella headliner.

Green Day Rock Hall of Fame inductees have yet to play Coachella, but Billie Joe Armstrong did take the stage with The Replacements in 2014. Travis Scott performed at Indio in 2017 and was set to headline in 2020, but the festival was canceled due to the new coronavirus . To make up for the little bit, he was brought in as a headliner in 2022, but organizers removed him from the line-up due to his fatal Astroworld Festival in 2021, where ten people died.

Additional headliners will be announced at a later date, which makes sense; in previous years, Coachella unveiled their lineup in mid-January.
