    Where’s ‘College GameDay’ This Week? What You Need to Know for Week 2

    “College GameDay” heads back to the Big House.

    College football’s premier pregame show returns to Ann Arbor for Saturday’s top 10 matchup between No. 9 Michigan and No. 3 Texas, a game that has been high on the calendar for college football fans since the end of last season.

    Saturday’s heavyweight matchup between the Wolverines and Longhorns, originally scheduled to begin in Texas, will mark the first time the two programs have faced off since the 2005 Rose Bowl Game. In that game, Texas kicker Dusty Mangum hit a 37-yard field goal as time expired to give the Longhorns the win.

    It will also be the second career start for Wolverines starting quarterback Davis Warren, who won the quarterback battle with Alex Orji and seventh-year graduate transfer Jack Tuttle. Warren finished with a 15-of-25 passing day with 118 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Michigan’s 30-10 season-opening win over Fresno State. His counterpart at Texas will be former Ohio State quarterback Quinn Ewers, who threw for three touchdowns in Week 1.

    Where is ‘College GameDay’ held in week 2?

    For the headline matchup of Week 2, ESPN’s “College GameDay” heads to Michigan for the Wolverines’ top 10 non-conference showdown against No. 3 Texas. ESPN chose the Wolverines and Longhorns over the other top 25 Week 2 showdown between No. 12 Tennessee and No. 23 NC State in the Duke’s Mayo Classic.

    The trip to Ann Arbor in Week 2 marks the third time Michigan has hosted “College GameDay” since 2019. “GameDay” was last in Michigan for “The Game” against Ohio State in 2023. The Wolverines appeared on “College GameDay” three times last season alone, including both College Football Playoff games.

    Saturday’s show will mark Texas’ 23rd appearance on “College GameDay.”

    ‘College GameDay’ Schedule on ESPN

    Saturday’s “College GameDay” precedes Saturday afternoon’s kickoff between Michigan and Texas on Fox, with Gus Johnson (play-by-play), Joel Klatt (analyst) and Jenny Taft (sideline reporter) hosting.

    Following “College GameDay,” Davis and Herbstreit head to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina to take on Tennessee-NC State in the Duke’s Mayo Classic at 7:30 p.m. ET with Holly Rowe. Davis once again fills in for Chris Fowler, who is covering the U.S. Open in New York.

    Possible locations for the Week 3 “College GameDay” include No. 12 LSU vs. South Carolina, No. 20 Texas A&M vs. Florida, No. 1 Georgia vs. Kentucky or No. 5 Alabama vs. Wisconsin.

    Who is the guest voter for ‘College GameDay’ in week 2?
