Remember last year during the World Series, when Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte stole a base off Nate Eovaldi in the top of the third inning in Game 1, and how that got everyone a free taco from Taco Bell? It was a great moment in American history. An act in a baseball game, where everyone wins a free taco. Who doesn’t like that? Even if you didn’t watch baseball, this was a promotion you could support and enjoy.

But the promotion is no more. In the series between the Yankees and Dodgers, bases are stolen, but no free tacos are awarded.

And fans are not happy.

You could even say they have a hard time with Major League Baseball and Taco Bell.

The reason the promotion no longer exists is because the popular fast food restaurant and the MLB parted ways.

The Sports Business Journal explained it in April:

Make this right, Taco Bell and MLB.
