Game 3 was action-packed between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians as the Yankees were just one strike away from taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the ALCS, but the Jhonkensy Noel had other plans. The rookie hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game at 5, then David Fry hit a 2-run blast in the bottom of the 10th to win it for the Guardians with a final score of 7-5. . The Guardians should be feeling good about Thursday night’s game and they will look to tie this series at 2-2, which brings us to our Yankees vs Guardians prediction.

It will be hard to match the drama in Game 3, but Game 4 will certainly be exciting to watch as both teams will be sending starters who have not yet made a start in this postseason. The Yankees start Luis Gil, who was 15-7 this season with a 3.50 ERA. Cleveland counters with Gavin Williams, who was 3-10 this season with a 4.86 ERA. Williams struggled against the Yankees in August, giving up three earned runs in 4.1 innings pitched. The same goes for Gil, who allowed 3 earned runs in 3.0 innings pitched. New York is feeling sick after Thursday’s loss, but they should feel good about Aaron Judge and the way he’s been swinging the bat the last two games. It’s hard to gauge how both starters will perform in the game, but looking at how they’ve done all season, I trust Gil a lot more than Williams. Not to mention that the Guardians’ bullpen has been heavily utilized over the last three games and the Yankees have had the better lineup all season. Looking for New York to get revenge after Thursday night’s loss, I’ll be backing the visitors on the moneyline as my best bet.
