76ers vs Lakers Prediction: Odds, Expert Picks, Expected Starting Lineups, Betting Trends & Stats

Tyrese Maxey is out for the 76ers, so it’s Paul George and Philly taking on the Los Angeles Lakers on the West Coast in a nightcap.

Philadelphia is 1-6 this season and misses Joel Embiid more and more every day. With Maxey out with a hamstring injury, there is a lot of pressure on Paul George, similar to his days in Los Angeles without Kawhi Leonard. This is nothing new for George or Philly, but it is frustrating for fans of the league.

Los Angeles has lost two straight games and four of its past six games at 4-4. There has been some rotational dysfunction, but that will happen early in the season and during a five-game (1-4) road trip. The Lakers are back home with questionable Anthony Davis. With him, Los Angeles should roll with Philadelphia, but this is the NBA where anyone can beat anyone.

That said, let’s dive into the match and provide some information and possibly some sweat.

We have all the information and analysis you need to know ahead of the match, including the latest information on how to get the opening tip, expected lineups, recent team performances, player stats and of course our predictions, picks and best bets for the game from our modeling tools and staff of experts.

NBC Sportsbook Best Bet

Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) likes D’Angelo Russell going under his points + rebounds + assists:

“D’Angelo Russell had a horrible outing in his last outing against the Grizzlies, finishing with 12 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound in a season-low 22 minutes. JJ Redick got tired of his defense in the third quarter of Memphis’ comeback, so he benched him and that will likely affect D-Lo here against Philly.

D-Lo shot 8 of 26 (30.7%) over the past two games and 4 of 14 from deep (28.5%) after scoring a season-high 19 points. This will be D-Lo’s fourth game in seven days and I don’t think his new coach trusts him, so I’m going with D-Lo’s PRA or points support.
