Alaska 2024 Presidential Election Live Results

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will battle it out in Alaska for the state’s three Electoral College votes. Trump’s pitch to voters focused on the economy, immigration and crime. Since taking over as Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden resigned, Harris has argued she would usher in a new era and has campaigned on improving the healthcare economy, protecting abortion rights and safeguarding democracy. The conservative state has voted for Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won Alaska with 53% of the vote, compared to Joe Biden’s 43%. In 2016, Trump won Alaska with 53%, compared to Hillary Clinton’s 38%. Since Alaska began participating in federal elections in 1960 after becoming a state the year before, it has voted for a Democratic presidential candidate only once: Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
