Penn State (9-1) visits Minnesota (6-4) on Saturday.

Let’s call it what it is: the Golden Gophers are the last legitimate obstacle in the Nittany Lions’ path to an 11-1 regular-season finish. (Sorry, Maryland).

And while the players are different, PJ Fleck’s team upset PSU (31-26) in 2019, the last time the two teams met in Minneapolis.

But there’s also this: James Franklin’s Penn State program is 4-0 on the road this season, with wins over West Virginia, USC, Wisconsin and Purdue.
