Demi Lovato has reason to celebrate after news broke that her family is expanding.

The 32-year-old singer is just weeks away from giving birth to a baby after her half-sister Madison De La Garza22, announced she is pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend Ryan Mitchell.

The former Desperate Housewives actress, who played the daughter of Eva Longoria’s character, Juanita Solis, shared the happy news on Instagram, along with several photos, one of which showed off her famous older sibling.

“Oh Ryan I love you so much. Thank you for making all my dreams come true. Baby Mitchell 10.24,” she captioned the carousel of images of her holding her baby bump.

In one photo, a beaming aunt-to-be Demi is seen with her hand on Madison’s belly. Also pictured are their mother Dianna De La Garza, 62, and sister Dallas Lovato, 36.

Demi expressed her joy over the news in the comments: “I love you and this baby so much already!!”

Her fiancé, Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes, was also overjoyed, adding: “I love you! So happy for you.”

Demi later shared Madison’s happy news on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Congratulations sweetheart. I love you so much!!!”

The “Heart Attack” singer is not only preparing to become an aunt, but also to get married after accepting Jordan’s proposal in December 2023.

The Canadian musician proposed to the former Disney Channel star with an impressive pear-shaped diamond ring, but it comes with a hefty price tag.

Research has shown that the ring was designed by the New York jewelry store Material Good. According to Neil Dutta, CEO of Angelic Diamonds, which specializes in wedding and engagement rings, a ring like this could be worth as much as $926,000.

He further estimates that the pear-shaped diamond, which is set in a solitaire setting on a platinum band, weighs about 5 carats.

Explaining the increasingly popular style, he said: “Pear-shaped diamonds symbolize women who move to the beat of their drum. They typically represent someone who is strong-willed, independent and empowered.”

Demi posted photos on Instagram at the time of the romantic proposal, followed by a celebratory dinner with friends and family at Craig’s in Los Angeles.

She wrote: “I’m still speechless,” adding: “Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I’m getting to marry the love of my life.”

Demi continued, “My love, I am beyond excited to marry you… every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. To the rest of our lives. I love you, sweetheart.”

Demi and Jordan met in January 2022 after he worked on her album “Holy Fvck.”

She later said on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, “We became friends first. We were friends for a few months and then we decided to start dating and well, after we told each other how we felt.”
