Not all Dancing with the stars fans are made to love Gene Simmons.

So after the KISS rocker commented on the looks of many of the contestants while serving as a guest judge for the October 8 hair metal-themed episode of the dance competition, several viewers had enough to say and shouted out loud.

“Gene Simmons’ comments about the ladies give off the energy of the rude uncle cornering you at the #DWTS reunion,” one person tweeted, while another person wrote, “Gene Simmons is seriously sucking all the energy out of the ballroom with his creepy comments about the dancers.”

After all, Simmons raised eyebrows when he used his criticism of the contestants’ dance routines to compliment some of the contestants, particularly the women.

“This is a whole new experience for me and it’s hard to look at you and figure out which one is the most hot, hot, hot,” the 75-year-old told the retired NFL star Danny Amendola and professional dancer Witney Carson. “Danny, I’m telling you, you’re standing right next to someone, one of the most beautiful women on the planet.”
