Marcello Hernández’s ‘SNL’ Character Domingo Arrested at Sabrina Carpenter Concert

Marcello Hernández’s beloved and viral Saturday evening live character Domingo was arrested this weekend by Sabrina Carpenter. The indictment? He’s way too hot.

Carpenter “arrests” a fan for being “too hot” at every concert stop on her Short n’ Sweet tour. The bit takes place just before she performs ‘Juno’. Last month, singer Millie Bobby Brown arrested during a show in Atlanta.

Hernández’s Domingo character originated during Ariana Grande’s October 12 episode SNLwhen the Bad The star joined the show’s cast when a group of bridesmaids sang a parodied version of Carpenter’s “Espresso,” accidentally revealing to the groom that the bride was unfaithful to her fiancé during their bachelorette trip, where she hit it off with a man named Domingo.

“Sabrina, I’m here!” Hernández can be heard screaming on video footage from Sunday’s concert in Inglewood. He then introduces himself as Domingo from “Miami, Baby.”

From the stage, Carpenter responded, “Miami? I wish you would come out of my bedroom. What are you doing later tonight?

Hernández then referenced Carpenter’s song “Bed Chem,” saying, “I’m the cute kid with the blue jacket and the thick accent.”

The singer went on to say she was “so nervous and overwhelmed” and asked, “Is there anything you want to say before I arrest you, Domingo?”

“Domingo” responded in a song: “Came all the way here / Had to explain / Straight from Domingo / Sabrina is a friend / She’s just like my sister / But I would hook up.”

“Like, now?” Carpenter responded and then handed him a pair of fluffy pink handcuffs.

It wasn’t Domingo’s first performance this weekend. Hernández reprized the role on Saturday SNL – hosted by Charli

The original “Bridesmaind Speech” sketch has been viewed more than 11 million times on YouTube. The successor to “Babymoon” has almost 2 million.
