Morgan Freeman enjoys a night out!

The 87-year-old actor made a rare appearance on Sunday, November 24, when he stepped out for dinner with loved ones in Los Angeles.

Freeman wore a plaid button-up shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap when he was spotted outside the famed Italian eatery Giorgio Baldi in the Santa Monica neighborhood.

The Academy Award winner also wore a cream-colored compression glove, which he used openly as a result of nerve damage he suffered in a 2008 car accident.

“It’s the fibromyalgia,” Freeman said Esquire during an interview published in July 2012. “Up and down the arm. That’s where it gets so bad. Unbearable.”

Despite his limited public appearances, Freeman continues to act regularly, having appeared in two films in 2024: My dead friend Zoe And Shooter.

The actor will also appear in next year Now you see me 3as part of a star-studded cast that also includes Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Ariana Greenblatt, Lizzy Caplan, Isla Fisher, Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa and Dave Franco.

Although Lionsgate has released the official storyline for Now you see me 3the second film ended with a big reveal about the leader of the Eye, so it’s likely that the third film could pick up from there and show how the Four Horsemen (Eisenberg, 41, Harrelson, 63, Fisher, 48, and Franco , 39) have had to deal with their new role in the secret society.

Filming for Now you see me 3 ended on November 18, with a caption on the film’s official Instagram account reading: “Your eyes don’t deceive you. That’s a recap of the next episode of #NowYouSeeMe – coming to theaters on November 14, 2025. 🪄.”

Meanwhile, Freeman recently hung out with fellow screen legend Clint Eastwood in California when he presented his friend with an award at the 2024 Monterey Jazz Festival in late September.

Freeman and his production partner Lori McCreary shared a photo of the actors posing together on Instagram on October 14, with Freeman writing: “It was a great pleasure to present my friend, Clint Eastwood, with the inaugural Clint Eastwood Award for Cultural Leadership at the @MontereyJazzFestival last weekend.”

“Clint is a real musician: pianist, composer and jazz lover!” he continued in the caption. “We had a great time listening to the incredible music of Kyle Eastwood and Mavis Staples!”

Freeman and Eastwood, 94, go back a long way; the pair co-starred in Eastwood’s 1992 Western Unforgivableand they reunited on screen in Eastwood’s 2004 boxing drama Million dollar baby. Eastwood directed Freeman again in 2009 Invictusin which Freeman portrayed the late South African President Nelson Mandela.
