Police are looking for a murder suspect in South Omaha

Omaha police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the South Omaha shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead.

Dak Lam, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting of Keah Paljor early Saturday near 29th and T Streets, according to an Omaha Police Department news release.

Police responded to the area just before 6 a.m. to investigate a report of shots fired, during which officers found Paljor suffering from gunshot wounds. Paljor was taken to Nebraska Medical Center, where he later died.

Police are asking anyone with information on Lam’s whereabouts to contact the Omaha Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 402-444-5656 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP, at www.omahacrimestoppers.org or at the mobile app P3 Tips.

A tip to Crime Stoppers that leads to Lam’s arrest will be eligible for a $5,000 reward, according to the news release.
