LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — SMU swept the No. 2 ranked Nebraska volleyball team 25-23, 25-21, 25-18 on Tuesday night in Dallas.

Nebraska was outscored .242% to .171% in the loss.

The Mustangs scored seven aces, while the Huskers scored just one.

Merritt Beason led the Huskers with nine kills, followed by Andi Jackson with eight.

Bergen Reilly and Lexi Rodriguez each had 11 digs to lead the defense.

SMU’s Naya Shime and Maya Tabron each scored nine points.

Jamison Wheeler led the dig count with 13.
