RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Dragon Lights Festival is coming back to Reno this year, embracing a change in season.

The festival to be held in Rancho San Rafael will feature 40 new LED displays, along with a 100-foot dragon that will serve as the centerpiece of the festival.

Event manager of Dragon Lights Huiyuan Liu enthusiastically explains: “So this year’s theme is the year of the dragon, because it is clear that we are in the year of the dragon. So it makes it easy for us to come up with a theme and the show is called Dragon Lights, so we decided to show even more dragon elements to the people.”

The festival starts today September 27 and lasts until November 30.
