    NFL fans have a few options this year with Sunday Ticket. Here’s how much they cost.

    The 2024-25 NFL season kicks off Thursday night with the Baltimore Ravens taking on the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

    The game will be broadcast on NBC, so fans with a basic cable subscription will be able to watch the game. However, if you want to watch games from outside your hometown during the NFL season, NFL Sunday Ticket is your best bet.

    NFL Sunday Ticket is a sports broadcast package that shows all out-of-market NFL Sunday regular season games that are not available on your local NBC, CBS, or FOX affiliates. The service is offered exclusively through YouTube TV.

    Since its launch in 1984, the package had previously been provided by satellite service DirecTV. Google, which owns YouTube and livestreaming service YouTube TV, won the rights to the package in December 2022, outbidding Amazon and ESPN and paying about $2 billion annually for seven years, the Wall Street Journal reported.

    Below, find out what you need to know about the prices for each type of Sunday Ticket package, plus some discounts that can help you save money this football season.

    NFL Sunday Ticket Price Guide

    You have options when looking for NFL Sunday Ticket. These options include:

    • NFL Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV: The price for NFL Sunday Ticket and a YouTube TV subscription is currently four payments of $158.99 per month, for a total of $635.96. After those four months, you’ll pay $72.99 per month for the base YouTube TV subscription. You can also add NFL RedZone for $10.99 per month, for a total of $43.96 for the season.
    • NFL Sunday Ticket without YouTube TV: The price to watch NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube is four payments of $119.75, a total of $479 for the season. You can also add NFL RedZone for $10 per month, a total of $40 for the season.

    Sunday Ticket offers and discounts

    • YouTube TV promo code: The first 25,000 fans to use the code TICKET50 on or before Thursday, September 5 will receive $50 off a Sunday ticket.
    • Free NFL Sunday Ticket Deals and Discounts from Verizon: New mobile and home internet customers, and existing subscribers who upgrade to certain services, can get NFL Sunday Ticket for free. But the deal for home internet customers ends on Thursday, August 29; the mobile offer ends on September 11. Also: Current customers can get $100 off NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Sunday Ticket with NFL RedZone, bringing the season price to $349 or $389.
    • Three-week free trial of FanDuel: New users who wager $5 on FanDuel will get a free three-week trial of NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV (offer valid through September 22; once you place your bet, you’ll receive a promo code to use on YouTube for the next three weeks). After your trial ends, you’ll automatically be charged the full price of NFL Sunday Ticket seasonally unless you cancel. And new FanDuel customers who place their first $5 bet will also get $200 in bonus bets.

    Is there a student discount on the NFL Sunday Ticket?

    The package normally costs $479, but students can get an NFL Sunday Ticket for $199 – and they can add NFL RedZone for $10.

    The discount is valid for students attending colleges and universities. They can sign up through YouTube’s NFL Sunday Ticket website.

    Students can sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan for $199 on the YouTube site. YouTube recommends using a personal email address to set up NFL Sunday Ticket (you watch through the NFL page on YouTube), as some university networks restrict .edu accounts.

    Once there, you can choose to subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket ($199) or NFL Sunday Ticket with NFL RedZone ($209). The RedZone channel, hosted by Scott Hanson, follows big plays during Sunday games live for seven hours and can show up to eight games simultaneously via the famous “Octobox.”

    Students are then redirected to the SheerID site to verify their student status. Students are then required to provide a payment method.

    NFL Sunday Ticket Includes New Features This Season

    Subscribers to NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV can expect a number of new features this upcoming regular season, including a feature that will help them win their fantasy football league.

    According to a YouTube blog post, Sunday Ticket subscribers will be able to watch games in a different way than they did a year ago, thanks to the addition of a new ‘Fantasy View’ partner, deeper fantasy integrations and multi-view improvements.

    “This year, you’ll see an even more personalized gameday experience for every fan,” the blog reads. “We’re excited to share the latest in the many features coming your way this fall.”

    Additionally, YouTube has improved its multiview feature, allowing subscribers to create any available combination of two, three or four NFL Sunday Ticket games, the blog said.

    YouTube TV Base Plan members also have the ability to find the multiview streams they want with their local NFL games through select channels.
